FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Liberation Day 20067pm TourCastle Cornet will be open on the evening of May 9th, Liberation Day, for a special tour entitled Chronicles of Castle Cornet, Medieval Myths, murders and manifestations. Local tour guide, Annette Henry explained: “I have been contacted by several groups of visitors who were keen to be able to tour the castle during the evening of May 9th. I thought it would make a wonderful end to the day’s activities if I offered this special tour to locals and visitors who may be keen to hear some of the gruesome, grisly stories of deprivation & danger within the imposing fortress.” The guide, dressed in costume, will take guests on an interesting whistle stop tour through the centuries, visiting parts of the castle usually inaccessible to members of the public. “The tour, starting at 7pm, will be suitable for children and adults, and lasts approximately 90 minutes. It promises to be interactive, informative, but above all good fun” said Mrs Henry. For further information, or to secure a place on the tour, please contact Mrs Henry.
